Wallet billing

RelayPDF is prepaid wallet billing, not monthly document tiers. New accounts get $5 trial credit. Only successful jobs debit; failed jobs, 429s, and 402s are free.

RelayPDF bills from a prepaid USD wallet. New accounts receive $5 trial credit. There are no monthly document tiers — you pay for successful jobs.

Launch rates

Admin can override these; do not hardcode a second list in your app. See /pricing for the live card.

  • • HTML / image / template PDF: $0.015
  • • AI template generate: $0.05
  • • LibreOffice convert: $0.04
  • • wkhtmltopdf: $0.025
  • • PDF tools (merge, extract, protect, bookmarks, barcodes, zip): $0.005

Debits

Successful operations debit millicents from the wallet. Failed jobs and rate-limited requests are unbilled.

Auto-reload

Set a low-balance threshold and reload amount. Stripe charges the saved payment method off-session. If the amount matches a top-up pack, the pack bonus is credited.

Top-ups

Checkout charges the listed pack amount. Larger packs credit a bonus (for example $20 paid credits $21). Credit never expires.

Insufficient funds

When balance is too low, write endpoints return 402 payment_required without charging.
